Overnight Breakfast Oats #MeatFreeMondayRecipe

<breakfast, oats, breakfast oats, meat free Monday, recipe, recipe ideas, healthy recipe, healthy ideas>
Back again.....and this week's blog post is going to provide a simple recipe for your sweet breakfast cravings! Overnight oats is a really simple and easy morning recipe to have you feeling filled right up until lunch time.

With only approximately 10 minutes prep time, this breakfast option is great for your #meatfreemonday

Some of the ingredients in this recipe contain dairy - which personally I am trying to cut back on as I feel it has a negative impact on my skin. I have substituted cow's milk for almond milk but I am yet to find a dairy free yoghurt I like! If anyone has any dairy free yoghurt suggestions please leave them in the comments!

Now time for the recipe!

Ingredients needed;

→ Rolled porridge oats (50g)

→ Natural yoghurt (2tbsp)
→ Almond milk (100ml)
→ Mixed berries (big handful)
→ Honey (drizzle)
→ Dark chocolate (one block)

Method;
(1) The night before serving, stir the oats and almond milk together.
(2) The next day, stir the oats to check consistency and if too solid, add in some more milk or water.
(3) Now top your oats with the yoghurt, berries, honey and dark chocolate.
(4) Enjoy!

And that's it! As easy as that! There are a variety of other breakfast options that you can enjoy on #meatfreemonday - even if it is your favourite bowl of cereal!

Please feel free to leave other #meatfreemonday breakfast ideas in the comment section below as I would love some inspiration!

Make sure to check out next Sunday's blog post for a tasty sweet potato platter recipe!
